This is a photos that I took on top of a building in Pudsey to try and capture the lights and the main part of pudsey it was a panorama but i cropped it to keep it in square format. I do like this photo but i dont think it will be very effective for an album cover. There is too much going on in this image.
I tried take this photo from low down so it captured the green grass and the blue sky again relating to the original songs I have chosen to do my final images on, even know that this is a good image i don't think that it is effective enough for my album cover because I wanted it to jump and be a little different. This looks too normal and not glam enough for the guns and roses i think.
This image is totally random and not something i would normally photograph but i thought the lighting was really nice and it is definitely random enough to be an album cover, i have noticed that not all the album cover relate very well they are just random.
I like this image but i think that it is very dull the sky is a lovely blue but it was a very dark day and i think that played a big part in my images i shot that day. I tried to capture all the water fountains while they were up so it was more effective.
With this image I tried to follow the path with my camera again we was using natural light so it was again very dull and dark but I liked all the scenery and how full my image was but not too busy so that your eyes got distracted. But i do think it would be a lot better if it was taken on a lighter more sunnier day so you could really capture the colours.
I did edit this to make it more colourful and less dull looking but I thought this would be a good album cover because i know that in the 70's it was all hippies and peace and i thought that this fit in well with this theme. Also I thought i could play around with the idea of it being the door to the other side where it is peaceful and happy.
Again this reminded me of something you might see in the 70's maybe 80's because that it when people started to speak out, think for themselves and be more reliant. I did again edit this just a little to brighten it up a little and make it jump out more to the viewers. I like the colours and the contrast between them because they are both completely different.
This jumped out to me because of the shape of the tree, it looks like something was once wrapped around part of it giving the tree a unique shape but i didn't think it was effective enough for the my album covers, they were all pretty dark and a little abnormal.
I love this one because of all the colours it is so bright and grabs your attention straight away. I think this photo feels a little lonely, which would go well with my wish you were here album but if it had someone sat all lonely it would be more effective and emotional.
This is my least favourite photo out of she shoot it is horrible its just not effective at all its boring and full and too dark the lighting was horrible throughout this shoot.
I like this image because of the band stand in the back ground its brakes it up a bit and gives it more to look at i could honestly use this as an album cover i think it would be very effect because even know it is very simple it all works very well together.
I like this photo because you can see right down the road and it gives your photo that long creepy 3d effect almost like you can walk into your photograph. I love how you can see all the leafs going down the road and how i have brightened them up so you can see them all the way down the road.
This was a panorama photograph but i cropped it and edited it to make it smaller. I also made the sky a little brighter and more electrical looking. It is very dark and gloomy but i think that it works very well with this image because i want it to look very dark and creepy like in the middle of no where.
I like this photo because of the creepy tree at the side but again it is just too dull and boring, it isn't creepy enough its too normal and not bold and bright enough, it just not eye catching.
I took this photograph while jumping up because this was over a really high wall but i wanted to see what was on the other side and i thought that it could possibly be a decent album cover. I think that it could be more effective if it was in black and white.
